SA-TIED research featured in The Conversation

Thando Vilakazi, the Executive Director, and Namhla Landani, a researcher at the Centre for Competition, Regulation and Economic Development, University of Johannesburg, published an article in The Conversation this week.

Their article discusses SA-TIED research on COVID-19’s impact on agriculture and agro-processing value chains from the work stream on Regional growth for southern Africa’s prosperity.

Thando Vilakazi and Namhla Landani conclude that regulatory responses to the pandemic disrupted agriculture and agro-processing activities.
